COVID 19 SAFETY GUIDELINES
prevention strategy overview
As our community safely transition to an in-person learning and activities environment, we follow thorough mitigation strategies to help protect students, parents and our staff to prevent the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19.
Our detailed mitigation plan includes:
- Promoting behaviors that reduce COVID-19’s spread such as frequent hand washing, wearing face mask/ face coverings, and smaller group sizes.
- Maintaining healthy environments during social interaction.
- Maintaining healthy operations; with frequent health screenings. Screenings are conducted daily and include temperature checks, a symptoms questionnaire during parent drop off and after lunch. Screening results are monitored closely and recorded in a daily log.
- Preparing for when someone gets sick
- Open and honest communications with parents and guardians.
We work closely with the CDC and local state and health officials to revise and adapt strategies where practically possible. As a parent or guardian, you have the option for drop in, part time, or full-time care.
